How to Do the "Blue Steel" Pose from Zoolander

Whether you're a model or just want to impress the babes, this is the perfect pose for you!

STEPS

1. Pose your lower body, this is mainly up to you (popping of the collar is highly suggested).
2. Tilt one of your shoulders towards the camera.
3. Make sure your face is looking directly at the camera.
4. Pucker your lips; do not close them together, make sure there is a little space in the middle.
5. Squint your eyes just a bit, as if there is a strong wind or sand blowing at you.

TIPS

• Breathe in and hold it to make your chest look bigger.
• Look into the center of the lens, which will make your eyes look stunning in the photograph.
• Do not turn left, as this would result in "Magnum" instead.

WARNINGS

• Do not do this around ladies. you do not want them to be attracted to you.
• Does not work as well for men.

Monday morning, and I am running out the door - late as usual - but stop to kiss Nic good bye. Theo and I wave and say bye-bye, as we do every day. But today, Nic decides to wave back and say byeeeeeee. I stopped in my tracks, doubled back and asked Theo if she said it but no, it was our littel Bean's first word. Precious, but also a bit sad that his first word to me is bye. Onto teaching him Mama! :)

7 November 2007- Due Date!

So today is Bean's due date and I find myself sitting here wondering if he will decide to make his appearance any time soon. So far it looks like he's quite happy to just sit and hang out a little longer. If he does not come by Sunday, I will be induced early on Monday morning. I would really prefer for him to choose his birthday but I have to trust my doctor and not wait too long.
Very nervous as I have no idea what to expect. But also getting very curious about meeting this little fellow who has been with me for 40 weeks and still kicking around a lot.
